Free workshop in theatre-making, acting and storytelling Thursday 11th September 2014. All welcome.

The Y Factor and theatre director Oonagh Murphy are offering a free workshop in theatre-making, acting and storytelling. The workshop will be an introduction to theatre games, acting skills and improvisational writing techniques and will use these tools to explore themes around poverty and girlhood/womanhood.
Following that, participants have the opportunity to take part in a one-month rehearsal period as part of the group who will write and perform in the final piece on October 14th to celebrate International Day of the Girl and mark UN International Day to Eradicate Poverty. This project is supported by the Department of Social Protection.
No experience necessary.
