The Y Factor is about supporting and empowering young people to take action for women’s equality. Ideas, initiative, a bit of common sense and the desire to do something, big or small, are all it takes to be part of that action.
The Y Factor can give your ideas and voices a platform, provide a connection to other like-minded young women and men and support learning, the exchange of ideas and campaigns for change.
Here are a few suggestions for how to Get The Y Factor:

Share your experiences and opinions with The Y Factor by submitting a blog or idea to us to be posted on our website.

Comment on the blog page, on our homepage or by posting on our Facebook page or tweeting with us on Twitter! (links)

Tell us what your group or organisation is doing to work towards women’s equality so that we can promote and share it with others

Share The Y Factor with your friends, families, peers, schools, youth groups and other organisations you’re involved with and spread the word

Talk to your school or youth group about having a discussion or series of workshops on women’s equality and then contact our Development Worker, Laura, to see if we can help you with that, lauram@nwci.ie or telephone 01-8787248
